It's been awhile, mommy has been working quite a bit and hasn't had alot of free time. She did figure that she should upload some pictures from our Easter 2009 in Swansboro, NC. We were there for 4 days and had an Easter egg hunt and church on Sunday. It was a great weekend of family time.

My First Day of Preschool

Thursday, Sept. 4th was my first day at preschool. I LOVE IT!!! I was such a big girl and didn't cry, however....my mommy did. We have been waiting for my "big girl" backpack to come in the mail but it didn't come in time so I am using the carebear bookbag that mommy and daddy's friends Kim and Leo gave me a few months ago when I was at their house, I'm thinking, I might like this one much better than that one mommy ordered me that is all monogrammed (If it were up to mommy she would probobly monogram me!) My big school is from 8:30a- 12:00p 2days a week, I'm so excited. The best part is that my friend Trey (mommy's friend JoAnna's boy) is in the class right next door to me. If we are good in class then we get a dum-dum at the end of the day- mommy isn't too happy about that, she is always trying to keep me away from yummy sweet treats!

Family Photoshoot

My aunt Lucy is a SUPER talented photographer in Florida, when we went to visit everyone she was sweet enough to take some family pictures for us, my mommy ALWAYS gets plenty of pictures of me but rarely gets any with her or all of us. I think Lucy did a fantastic job. Here are just a few of my favorites, there were so many good ones it was sort of hard to chose.

Florida Vacation 2008

We had the best time in Florida this year, I'm old enough now to interact with all of my cousins- I didn't really remember them from last year but had a blast with them this year. My mommy was so happy to get to spend some time with her family and can hardly wait to see them again at Christmas time. Here are just a few pictures of our 7 days in Florida!

July 4th Celebrations!

We had a wonderful July 4th weekend. My Nana's birthday is July 4th so we had a weekend long celebration with a cookout, cake, parade and fireworks. My Nana keeps telling me that she is lucky because they set off fireworks just for her every year for her birthday- my Nana is so silly! Here are just a few pictures from the weekend including the family taking Nana out to eat for her birthday. Oh yeah, I was sort of scared of the firetrucks and ambulances in the parade so when we went to the fireworks my daddy brought me his ear covers to help keep some of the noise out. God Bless the USA!

A Day at Volmer Farm

Mommy, Daddy, Nano and myself all met up with one of mommy's friends from work and we went to Volmer Farm to pick strawberries and play on "The back 40", as you can tell we had so much fun and we got to eat our yummy strawberries and drink strawberry slushes! When we went to "The Back 40" we got to jump on a big jumping pillow, ride a cow train, slide down an underground slide, ride a zipline and play on multiple playgrounds. I LOVED IT!!!!

Pine Knoll Shores Aquarium

The 4 generations spent a day together at Pine Knoll Shores Aquarium. Mommy, Granny, Nano and myself looked at fish, turtles, frogs and other sea creatures. I LOVED the turtles!! We had so much fun. When we walked out of the aquarium Granny and I found REAL outside turtles while we were waiting to leave, I named one of them Henry.

Happy Easter 2008

Happy Belated Easter Everyone! So as you know it has been quite awhile since my mommy has added anything to this blog but she FINALLY decided to post again. We had a wonderful Easter, we went to Swansboro (as is becoming our custom) and spent a long weekend full of fun. We dyed eggs then the Swansboro First Baptist Church held an Easter egg hunt on Saturday and then Sunday we went to church and had a tasty lunch. Here are a few pictures from our weekend.
